AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) Exam is the process of getting jobs in the Indian Air force. AFCAT exam is a National level competitive exam conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF) to select officers for all technical or non – technical departments but not for the medical and dental departments.
The AFCAT examination pattern contain multiple-choice questions on verbal ability, numerical ability, reasoning general awareness, and military aptitude for the duration of 2 hours. AFCAT examination consists of hundred questions carrying 3 marks each. Thus for each correct answer, a candidate gets 3 marks, for every wrong answer one mark is deducted and there is no marking if any question left blank. AFCAT Exam is conducted twice in a year as AFCAT (l) in the month of February and AFCAT (ll) in the month of August.
